The eLan SA Rugby Legends who have been instrumental in putting together the enormously successful Legacy Park program for disadvantaged communities throughout South Africa were on hand to help launch the Tiger Turf Arena Gateway on 30 October 2009 which started at 16.00 hrs
The launch which has been put together by Sportsfan Eventing in association with SA Rugby Legends Legacy Park Trust highlighted the ultimate Astro Sports Arena, which offers huge opportunities for coaching clinics as well as corporate and social 6 aside soccer and Tag rugby leagues.
This exciting concept will also give opportunities to organizations interested in utilizing the facility for promoting their social awareness programs with the disadvantaged communities in the surrounding neighborhoods.
The launch included clinics with SA Rugby and Soccer Legends and the children with East Coast Radio also there to battle it out on the field against the Legends adding a slice of entertainment to the event.
Showbol, the official 6 aside Federation in South Africa was also an interesting new sporting observation.
